GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Halloween is just days away and many people are looking for ways to have fun this spooky season.
In West Michigan, there are several haunted houses to visit that are sure to give you a fright this Halloween season:
ALLEGAN COUNTY
NEW SALEM CORN MAZE | 4516 24th St., Dorr
The New Salem Corn Maze has two haunted experiences: the Witches Woods and the Haunted Corn Maze.
The Witches Woods offers two frightening trails to explore. The Haunted Corn Maze brings guests on a “ride of dead ends, twists & turns, confusion, mayhem and to top it off you will be stalked by our devilish team of corn stalkers,” the website said.
During the day, the corn maze is family-friendly with a daytime corn maze, farm animals, a pumpkin patch, hay rides and more.
The Witches Woods and the Haunted Corn Maze are open Fridays and Saturdays until Nov. 2. The daytime maze and activities are held Friday through Sunday. Learn about what else is offered and purchase tickets here.
KALAMAZOO COUNTY
NIGHTMARE REALM TERROR PARK | 23492 Red Arrow Highway, Mattawan
Nightmare Real Terror Park transports guests to Cypress Hollow where they have to escape creatures from Nightmare Realm.
“The people… they’re changing! Trista and her army of Creatures from the Nightmare Realm continue to wreak havoc on the inhabitants of Cypress Hollow. Drained of light and brought back as twisted versions of who they once were, terror is the only thing they know. It is time to FEAST once again!” the website said.
The park is open from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday until Nov. 2 with an extra day added for Halloween. Learn more here.
HAUNT PARK | 7656 Ravine Road, Kalamazoo
The Haunt Park has four attractions in one location: The Psyco Ward, the Nightmares Haunted House, the Clown Mansion Haunted House and Camp Crystal Lake Paintball.

KENT COUNTY
ABANDONED ACRES FARM HAUNTED ATTRACTION | 7737 Fruit Ridge Ave. NW, Sparta
Abandoned Acres Farm Haunted Attraction includes outdoor haunted corn mazes and indoor haunted experiences that are sure to scare.
“Come see what new Horrors await you this year, with many new scenes, sets and scares for 2024!!! The Legend of Abandoned Acres Farm is written in Blood,” the website said.

THE HAUNT | 1256 28th St. SW, Wyoming
The Haunt has been scaring the public for 24 years and is ready for another year.
On Oct. 25, there will be a Kids Haunt from noon to 5 p.m. The event will include music, trick or treating, face painting, a costume contest and a semi-scary haunt for older children. Tickets are free for adults, $10 for children age 6 and older and $5 for kids 5 and younger.
