Aaron Rodgers has a fresh new start with the Pittsburgh Steelers and optimism is high for the upcoming season. Training camp has been full of interesting nuggets reflecting a positive and hopeful vibe as the Steelers' new offensive core looks to jump-start a unit that's failed to be particularly explosive in recent years.

Rodgers shared a complimentary observation about new teammate DK Metcalf with CBS Sports HQ, revealing the wide receiver has something in common with a current NBA great.

"Much like Steph Curry never leaving the court without, whether it's swishing 10 free throws or making your last shot, DK didn't want to leave the field without perfect catches in a row," Rodgers said. "I just respect the way he works."

Rodgers picked up on this trait during a workout with Metcalf at UCLA before he officially decided to become a Steeler.

The comment was made as a larger conversation about the budding chemistry between the two that will be paramount to any Pittsburgh success this season.
