Do you know a woman who has made an impact on her community? What about someone who has overcome the odds to succeed in her career or a volunteer endeavor? Or a woman who exhibits innovation, creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit? WOOD TV8 is accepting nominations for our Remarkable Woman 2025 contest.
From Nov. 12 – Dec. 21, you can nominate an exceptional woman. Nominees will be evaluated by a panel of judges from WOOD TV8 and a winner will be selected. Our winner will be announced on eightWest on Tuesday, April 1.
The Remarkable Women contest is held by all Nexstar Media-owned stations and all 125 nominees from stations across the country will be honored at a star-studded awards dinner and ceremony in Los Angeles, where one woman will be named Nexstar’s Remarkable Woman of the Year. A $1,000 check in each nominee’s name will be given to the charity of their choice as well.
