GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On this “To The Point,” what you need to know before you vote is explained by two county clerks.

Ottawa County Clerk Justin Robuck says that we all want the same thing: election integrity.

“… We are all working towards election integrity, and election integrity matters and our system is resilient. Multiple checks and balances… we’re required to have a bipartisan team at every major decision that’s happening,” he said.

While Kent County Clerk Lisa Posthumus Lyons says you can experience the process for yourself.

“Nothing can make you trust the process more than going through the training, the rigorous training, that out election inspectors, you friends, your family, your neighbors, that they all go through and to see it and do it on the ground,” she said.
