THREE RIVERS, Mich. (WOOD) — The city of Three Rivers says some 10,000 gallons of wastewater drained into a storm sewer Friday.
The wastewater leaked from a broken bypass hose and went into a storm sewer on a nearby road, according to the city.
Officials say the leak was identified around 7 p.m. and fixed within the hour.
In mid-October, the city said about 50,000 gallons of wastewater went into the St. Joseph River, prompting a no-contact advisory that has since been lifted.
