GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — This weekend in West Michigan, you can celebrate Halloween a few days early, check out some incredible circus acts or get tatted.

Grand Rapids Tattoo Festival

The Grand Rapids Tattoo Festival is back this weekend at DeVos Place.

The three-day event brings tattoo artists downtown so guests can get some ink and check out a competition amongst the artists.

The circus is in town as the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s The Greatest Show On Earth comes to Van Andel Arena.

There will be six shows from Friday through Sunday for people of all ages. There will be musical performances, high wire acts and more.

Halloween Masquerade at JW Marriott

Get in the Halloween spirit this Friday at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids.

The hotel is hosting Just Wicked, a Halloween masquerade party that will include live music, specialty-crafted drinks and a costume contest.

Takeover Tour Finals

The Soccer Rebellion has teamed up with Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. to host the Takeover Tour 2024 at the Las Canchas Community Courts on Saturday.

The soccer tournament will bring teams from across the country to compete and there will be plenty of other activities to enjoy while you’re down there.

Roosevelt Park will be the place for this year’s Grand Rapids Dia de los Muertos Festival.

The cultural and educational event will begin Saturday at 5 p.m., providing plenty to check out from food to music to arts and crafts.

The American Heart Association is putting on the 2024 Kalamazoo Heart Walk this Saturday.

The event will be held at Celery Flats Historical Area and will be a 5K that brings racers out to raise money for AHA.
