GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Celebrate the end of constant political ads by heading outside and touching some grass this weekend.

GR Gold season opener

Basketball is back in West Michigan this Friday as the Grand Rapids Gold returns to the court.

Led by head coach Andre Miller once again, the Gold will host the Windy City Bulls in their home opener at Van Andel Arena. The two will also face off on Sunday as well.

Fall Nature Makers Market

On Saturday, Blandford Nature Center is hosting its annual Fall Nature Makers Market.

The event will bring over 25 vendors to the nature preserve to showcase jewelry, illustrations, prints and more. Guests can also enjoy the center for free this month.

Over 200 vendors will take part in the 42nd annual Holiday Arts & Craft Fair in Rockford.

It takes place this Saturday and will give attendees the chance to peruse through one-of-a-kind creations and get some holiday shopping done early.

Fowling Warehouse will be the site for some of the smallest but mightiest wrestlers this weekend.

For two days, the Psychic and Holistic Expo will take over DeVos Place starting Saturday.

LEGO-building event in Kalamazoo

Head on down to LFG Gaming Bar in downtown Kalamazoo for a collaboration between the bar and Bricks & Minifigs.
