KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — Two girls who were missing from Kentwood have been found safe, police say.

The Kentwood Police Department on Tuesday said 15-year-old Samantha Ramirez-Garcia and 10-year-old Guadelupe Ramirez-Garcia were missing after they did not show up to school that morning.

The police department on Wednesday said after an investigation, it did not believe they were in danger.

The two were ultimately found Friday morning, the Kentwood Police Department said in an update, and the two are both safe.

“We are working to reunite them with family,” the police department said.
