KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Four people were injured in a shooting in Kalamazoo Tuesday, police say.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said the patients’ injuries are not believed to life-threatening.
It happened on West Main Street near Northampton Road. A News 8 crew on scene saw a large police presence at the Little Caesars, which was blocked off by police tape.


KDPS said the shooter was not on the scene. It did not immediately release any information about a suspect. As of Wednesday morning, police said no suspect was in custody.
Police said the shooting was between two people who knew each other and was not random.
As police investigate, the public is asked to avoid the area.
