KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say two people were injured in a shooting in Kalamazoo early Wednesday morning.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said it happened around 12:30 a.m. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened on Lilac Lane, and the victims ran over to the Bronco Liquor store at the intersection of Drake Road and KL Avenue.
A KDPS officer said two people were taken to the hospital with “very minor injuries.”
Witnesses reported seeing two suspects, police said, but they don’t have any suspect descriptions. Investigators don’t believe there is an immediate threat to the public.
