GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Van Andel Arena says “one of the most influential groups in country music” will be making a stop in Grand Rapids in February.

Rascal Flatts is returning from a hiatus to perform their Life Is A Highway Tour next year. During a 21-stop tour across the country, the group will play at Van Andel Arena on Feb. 15. The tour comes after a farewell tour was announced in 2020.

“To put it simply, we needed a break,” the band wrote in a news release about the 2020 decision.

The COVID-19 pandemic dashed those plans but gave Rascall Flatts the break they’d been searching for.

“Since then, we’ve been able to revisit our unique and special experience as a band and we’re ready to get out on the road again,” the group wrote.

The 2025 tour marks the 25th anniversary of the band. They’ll replay many of their hits including “Bless the Broken Road,” “My Wish,” and “What Hurts the Most.” Country artists Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane will be joining the tour.

Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. on the Van Andel Arena website.
