LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris will hold a campaign rally on Michigan State University’s campus on Sunday, two days before Election Day.

Harris is expected to speak in East Lansing at around 6:30 p.m.

She will also make a series of stops across metro Detroit beforehand, attending church and stopping at a local restaurant to speak.

This visit comes after Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz held their first event together since August, when they rallied in Savannah, Georgia.

According to a news release from her campaign, Harris will campaign in every battleground state to mobilize voters in the last few days of the election. Harris will travel to Arizona and Nevada on Thursday to campaign in Phoenix, Reno, and Las Vegas. Friday and Saturday Harris will travel to Wisconsin, Georgia, and North Carolina to host a Get Out The Vote rally. After visiting Michigan on Sunday, Harris plans to visit Pennsylvania on Monday, November 4.

Former President Donald Trump will be back in Michigan on Friday, speaking at a rally in Macomb County. This campaign trip comes after Trump’s visit to Traverse City and Novi this past Friday and Saturday. Running mate Sen. JD Vance of Ohio has made recent stops in Portage, HollandAuburn Hills and Marne.

Michigan is one of several battleground states for the presidential election—and the Democratic and Republican tickets remain at a statistical dead heat.
