GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) For a second year, Maranda and a team from west Michigan have paid a visit to the Netherlands. Maranda, Fifth Third Bank and Tulip Time got the chance to explore the country’s cultural connections to Holland, MI, in anticipation of the “96th Annual Tulip Time Festival,” which returns May 3-11, 2025.

Some of the first stops on the trip include attending the World Tulip Summit! Also on the itinerary is a visit to Willem Blaeu, a school in Alkmaar, NE, to see how students arrive and depart on their bikes and what they’re learning. They also got to visit the Royal Delft Museum, the only remaining factory museum of Delft pottery. Maranda shared her experiences with Rachael and Tom.

Next year’s Tulip Time will start earlier than normal, starting on the first Friday of May, the 2nd, instead of the first Saturday, and going until May 11. The festival will celebrate 90 years of Dutch Dance with performances, lessons and a lunch and style show.

Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. on October 29. Learn more about the schedule and events and get tickets here.
