GRAND RAPIDS, MIch. (WOOD) – Well, the snow this week really got us in the holiday mood and luckily there are tons of holiday events to check out this weekend!

First up, the annual Grand Rapids Tree Lighting and Gentex Santa Parade on Saturday! The parade kicks off at 5pm and the tree lighting starts around 6:45pm.

You could also take a trip to the Gilmore Car Museum this weekend. Their Winter Wonderland Holiday Experience kicked off last night. Enjoy holiday lights and displays across the 90 acres of Gilmore Car Museum’s campus, engage in interactive exhibits, decorate your own ornament, meet Santa and make memories exploring their fantastic exhibits. The Winter Wonderland Holiday Experience runs now through December 30th from 5pm until 9pm every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The Grand Rapids Winter Beer Festival coming up in February. But what you need to know now is that tickets for it go on sale today. It draws thousands of festival goers out to try hundreds of beers from Michigan’s top breweries. This extremely popular winter event takes place on February 22nd and it’s once again at LMCU Ballpark.

If you haven’t made your way down to the Christkindl Markt at the Downtown Market in Grand Rapids, you still have time! The market runs through December 23rd and features food and drinks, shopping vendors, outdoor games and much more!
