A metro-Detroit native, Michael graduated from Western Michigan University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. He is currently studying for a master’s degree in Public Administration at Grand Valley State University.
During his time with News 8, he has helped cover the escape of Michael Elliot from Ionia Correctional Facility in 2014; the Wyoming Craigslist Murders; the Kalamazoo shooting spree; coronavirus in Michigan; and winter weather.
