GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (ABC 4)- Kent Intermediate School District is committed to amplifying the voices of its students.

On Monday, Nov. 18, the “2024 Listen. Learn. Lead State of the Student” was held at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids.

During the event, more than 40 Student Leadership Community members “shared their thoughts on what it’s like to be a high school student in West Michigan.” Additionally, they “made presentations and participated in panel discussions covering topics: School Safety, Youth Mental Health, Belonging, and Student Engagement.”
