GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (ABC 4)- Art is a universal language that inspires, evokes emotion, and can connect people of different backgrounds and walks of life.

Recognizing the power and beauty of art, Samaritas recently hosted an art show to spotlight Sulma, a talented refugee artist from Honduras.

Through her art, Sulma depicts happiness and love, illustrating how, despite adversity, hope and joy can flourish with the right support-like that provided by Samaritas’ Refugee Services.
