GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (ABC 4)- There’s always something fun to discover in Downtown Grand Rapids, especially during ArtPrize season!

Beyond exploring beautiful sights–unique paintings, sculptures, drawings and artwork across various mediums–visitors can also enjoy magical sounds.

Year-round, the Grand Rapids Symphony engages the community in the “art” of music.

“I think it’s amazing that we have ArtPrize here in Grand Rapids. It’s all about getting close to the art, being curious about art, and expressing your creativity, and that’s what the Grand Rapids Symphony is all about year-round also,” Kimia Ghaderi, assistant principal, second violin at the GR Symphony, said.

The organization offers several educational and performance opportunities. They also present classical music, pops and more genres during their captivating concerts.

On Friday, January 17, and Saturday, January 18, 2025, the community can join the Symphony for “Disney in Concert: A Dream is a Wish.”

During the concerts, audiences of all ages will be transported “into the musical world of classic and contemporary Disney Animated Feature films to discover that dreams really do come true,” a description reads.

Tickets for the concert are currently on sale.
