GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (ABC 4)- It’s a special day at Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital as their 5th Annual National Injury Prevention Awareness Day is underway.
From 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, the community can visit the Hospital and learn about top preventable injuries and ways to save a life through free demonstrations.
Local organizations and partners, including the Grand Rapids Griffins, the Coast Guard, Be Safe For Gun Storage, and others, will share life-saving tips, such as CPR, bike safety, identifying life-threatening bleeds and more.
