GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (ABC 4)- Lace up your sneakers and get ready to “Walk The Walk” with the Battle Creek community!
On Saturday, Sept. 28, the Battle Creek Community Foundation is hosting an event that empowers the community to join the fight against breast cancer.
At 10 a.m., guests of all ages and abilities can participate in a 2-mile walk that begins at the Lucky Rooster and concludes at One-Nation Tap-Table.
Following the walk, participants can enjoy an after-party featuring bounce houses for kids, free food, informational booths and much more.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the Connecting Communities Cancer Control Coalition (5C).

The ability to make a difference will also extend beyond the event.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Lucky Rooster and One-Nation Tap-Table will offer specialty menu items for customers to purchase, with proceeds directly benefiting the Connecting Communities Cancer Control Coalition.
