GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (ABC 4)- Since 1972, Senior Neighbors has been committed to enhancing the lives of thousands of older adults.
Based in Kent County and located at five centers, Senior Neighbors helps older adults maintain their independence and stay connected to their communities through key programs, including case management, healthy aging initiatives, home maintenance, housing assistance, transportation, volunteer opportunities and more.

To support these programs and the impact of older adults on the community, Senior Neighbors is hosting an event/fundraiser, “Senior Neighbors 16 over 60 Gala.”
The event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park to celebrate “16 remarkable individuals from Kent County who exemplify service, vitality, community, etc., with significant impact in the recent years of their lives.”
